    On Thanksgiving Monday, October 10, 2011, nine participating Kings Buffet outlets, including – Brantford, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Owen Sound, Stratford and St. Thomas, joined forces to support the United Way. With two sittings (lunch served 11:00am – 2:00pm and dinner served 4:00 – 8:00pm) the Thanksgiving meal was offered at a special (very special) price of only 99 cents per person, with all proceeds going to each restaurants local United Way.
