United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton provides funding and other support to programs operating within local agencies. With over 80 years of experience, we are in the business of creating a meaningful and tangible impact in neighbourhoods across our city.

We provide leadership and support to the non-profit sector and connect community members to find long-term solutions to the issues that affect us most. Through community partnerships, our experienced employees and volunteers look for gaps and opportunities in services and invest in a combination of programs that will have the greatest impact in the most effective way.

In 2008, United Way has invested $4,708,451 to help people in Burlington and Greater Hamilton lead healthier lives, build safer homes and neighbourhoods, become self-sufficient, and give our children and youth opportunities for a brighter tomorrow.
